New Delhi : A day after CBSE cancelled its Class 10 board examination, Supreme Court will be hearing a plea filed in court to cancel the Class 12 board examinations due to current coronavirus situation in the nation.

"Conducting Class 12 board examinations online or offline are not feasible because of an unprecedented pandemic. She urged that the boards' notification to conduct examinations at a later date must be quashed, adding that the students cannot be subjected to suffer amid uncertainty over coronavirus situation.

Besides, the apex court will also take up another plea filed by Tony Joseph, a Kerala Teacher against the cancellation of class 12 board exams. “Class 12 exam is an integral part of the life of a student and important for admission to higher educational institutions….” the petition said.

The hearing in the matter has been scheduled for 11 am on Monday. Let’s see what court will decide.
