New Delhi : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully conducted JEE Main offline and online mode on April 2, April 8 and April 9. According to the official website, the results for the same will release on April 27 at official website jeemain.nic.in. 

This year, approximately 2 lakh candidates appeared for the engineering exam and eagerly awaiting the result to be announced on the JEE official website. JEE-Main was conducted in two parts- Paper I and Paper II.

The JEE Main Exam 2017 computer based examination was held in 113 cities across India out of which the tests were conducted in 9 cities outside India. Over 10.2 lakh students appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination-Main (JEE-M) at 1,781 centres across the country on April 2 for admission in engineering colleges, including the IITs.

For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
