Mumbai : Maharashtra HSC Board Exam 2020 Result: Maharashtra State Board Of Secondary And Higher Secondary Education is likely to delay the announcement of HSC Board Exam 2020 Results from earlier announced date June 10, said a report.

The delay in announcement of examinations is due to late evaluation process of answer sheet amid coronavirus lockdown. Updates related to new date of results will be made available on the official website mahresult.nic.in.

According to the Maharashtra high court's order, the HSC and SSC results 2020 should have been declared by June 10 but as per the latest media reports, Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad hinted a delay in the declaration of Maharashtra HSC Result 2020.

The Maharashtra HSC examinations were held in the month of March this year.

It is being suspected that the Maharashtra HSC Board Exam 2020 results are likely to get delayed by around 1 month, which means the students who had appeared for the exam can expect it in the first week of July. 

The Maharashtra Board has recently cancelled the Geography Exam and announced that the students will be awarded average marks.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, MSBSHSE is yet to announce any dates officially on the release of results. Maharashtra government has also cancelled the Final year university exams in the state due to the rising coronavirus COVID-19 cases in the state.
