Punjab Board Results: PSEB Class 10th results 2017 likely to be declared today afternoon @ pseb.ac.in
New Delhi : PSEB Class 10th results 2017: Punjab School Education Board is likely to release the PSEB 10th class results 2017 on Saturday (May 20) at its official website, pseb.ac.in. Students who had appeared for the examination can check their Punjab 10th Results 2017 online at pseb.ac.in. In 2016, the board result was declared on May 25. Punjab School Education Board successfully conducted PSEB class 10 exam in the month of March 2017. A large number of candidates who are studying the same appeared for the Punjab 10th class exams across various examination centers.
According to Financial Express "This year the Punjab board examinations were delayed due to the assembly elections in 5 states, after which the board exams were successfully conducted from March 14 to March 29.
As per PTI report, there was a fall of 14 per cent in pass percentage as compared to last year. 36,376 students could not qualify the exam against 3.14 lakh students who had appeared for the exam. While the overall pass percentage of female candidates was 72.59, it was 54.42 percent for male candidates.
Over 3 lakh candidates appeared for the PSEB 10th examinations last year with a recorded pass percentage of 95% and for the past 3 years, the girls are outshining boys as far as the pass percentage in both are concerned. Last year 90% girls passed as compared to the 88% boys."
