New Delhi : Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final result of UPSC Civil Services Exam 2017.Students who appeared for the exam can check their result in the official website,upsc.gov.in.The UPSC Civil Services Exam 2017 results can also be checked on - upsconline.nic.in. Hyderabad candidate Anudeep Durishetty topped the list.

In all, 990 candidates have been selected for the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2017 results. The second position has gone to a science graduate from Delhi University Ms Anu Kumari, who later picked up a MBA degree from IMT, Nagpur.

The exam was held in October-November, 2017 to recruit candidates for IAS, IFS, IPS, Central Services (Group A and Group B) and other departments.The UPSC preliminary exams was held on 18 June 2017.

180 candidates have been selected for IAS. 42 for IFS, 150 for IPS, 565 for Central Service Group (A)  and  121 candidates for Group (B). 750 are men and 240 are women among the 990 selected. 

9,57,590 candidates applied for this examination, out of which 4,56,625 candidates actually appeared. 13,366 candidates qualified for an appearance in the Written (Main) Examination held in October – November 2017. Of them, 2568 candidates qualified for the Personality Test conducted in February-April 2018.

Step 1: Log on to the official website upsc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the tab ‘check result’

Step 3: A PDF file will open displaying the roll numbers of the selected candidates

Step 4: Download the same and take a printout for future reference.
