WBBSE class 10th and class 12th Results 2017 likely to be declared last week of May at wbresults.nic.in
New Delhi : The West Bengal Madhyamik Pariksha board will announce the WBBSE class 10th and class 12th Results 2017 in the last week of May on its official website, wbresults.nic.in. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education is a statutory body that conducts WBBSE Class 10 examination in the state.
Latest media reports suggest that WBBSE is likely to declare the result by the end of this month. Students can check their results at wbresults.nic.in.
"WBBSE is expected to declare WBBSE Class 10th results 2017 and WBBSE Class 12th results 2017 in the last week of May", an official from the board was quoted while interacting with the reporters.
Last year, around 11.4 lakh students had appeared for the WBBSE 10th Madhyamik examinations, out of which 54.59 percent were girls and 79.62% of could clear the exams. 86.34% boys passed the exams.
This year, WBBSE Class 10th examinations were held between 22 February and 3 March. According to reports, Over 10 lakh students appeared for the West Bengal Madhyamik examination. Many reports earlier suggested that results may be declared in the mid of May, however board has said that it plans to release the results in the last week of May.
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is a statutory body that conducts Class 10 examination in the state. All government and private schools in the state come under the purview of the board.

2. Click on WBBSE Madhyamik Pariksha Examination 2017.
3. Enter your roll number and other details.
4. After submitting the form, the results will be displayed.
5. Get a print copy and save it digitally for future references.

The Board of Secondary Education was established in 1951 under an Act of the State Legislature called the West Bengal Secondary Education Act of 1950. The Board was inaugurated by the then Governor of West Bengal Dr.K.N.Katju on 3rd May 1951 and the Board started functioning under the Chairmanship of Sri Apurba Kumar Chanda.
