Aamir Khan and Mukesh Ambani together for Rs 1000 crore Mahabharata

New Delhi : Bollywood is now talking about the big budget film Mahabharata to be produced by Mukesh Ambani. Superstar Aamir Khan will work on movie which is based on the great Indian epic. It is likely to be considered as the most expensive films to be ever made in the Indian film industry. Aamir Khan will work on Mahabharata movie after the completion of Thugs of Hindostan.

It is believed that the Rs 1000 crore Mahabharata series will be compared with Hollywood's The Lord of the Rings or the Game of Thrones in terms of the production value, as tweeted by movie industry tracker Ramesh Bala.

Bala said that the big budget film will be co-produced by Mukesh Ambani. While promoting Secret Superstar movie, Aamir had reportedly said, “My dream project is to make the Mahabharata but I’m afraid of starting the project as I know it will consume at least 15-20 years of my life. My favourite character is Karna, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to play him due to my physique. I may just have to play Krishna. I also liked the character of Arjun. He was the only person who asked Krishna why he had to kill his own people.”

Also, during another event, Aamir had said, “My dream is to make Mahabharata one day, which I have not yet achieved or I haven't even moved towards it. It’s too scary as a dream, maybe that’s why. It’s a big dream and so let’s see if I can do it one day.”

Interestingly, on social media updates, a few months back, a post of Fatima Sana Khan indicates that she was reading The Mahabharata. It was clear from one of her Instagram posts. But following rumour of her role in the film, she reportedly removed it from Instagram.

However, the official announcement is yet to be made. Though Aamir Khan has not mentioned about his role and work in the Mahabharata movie, yet fans are eager to see if he is playing the character of ‘Krishna, Karna or Arjuna.
