Actor Prakash Raj trolled for cracking a joke on Chandrayaan 3, says 'Grow up'
Mumbai : With less than 48 hours left for Chandrayaan 3 to attempt a soft landing on the moon, the nation is feeling proud as the chances of the success of the mission are bright. People have been posting several posts over the soft landing, including actor Prakash Raj who posted a meme style post in which K Sivan can be seen cheering after the success of soft landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the moon.
The netizens however slammed the actor for mocking the mission and the scientist. One of the users wrote, "South’s actor Prakash Raj is making a dirty joke of South’s scientist K Sivan wearing a lungi and the country’s achievement Chandrayaan 3. How you people of South can tolerate this???" Another tweeted, "What a shame u have become for just nothing . May god bless you with some wisdom sir."
Reacting to the backlash, the actor has now shared his thoughts over the issue and slammed people for not letting the joke to be a joke. He mentioned in his tweet, “Hate sees only Hate.. i was referring to a joke of #Armstrong times .. celebrating our kerala Chaiwala .. which Chaiwala did the TROLLS see ?? .. if you dont get a joke then the joke is on you .. GROW UP #justasking”.
On Sunday, the Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO) clarified that the Vikram lander is in its final orbit of 25x134. The attempt for soft landing will be done on August 23.
