Mumbai : Actress Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday announced that she has tested negative for coronavirus. She notified her fans via an Instagram story.

"Hello everyone, today I tested negative for COVID," she wrote on her Instagram story.

"I want to say a lot about how I beat the virus but I am told not to offend COVID fan clubs. Yes, there are actually people out there who get offended if you show disrespect towards the virus," she added.

Kangana also thanked her fans for their love and wishes during the hard time. Check out her Instagram story below:

Soon after claiming that she would not like to share her journey of recovery from coronavirus, the actress shared a reel, explaining her fight with the virus.

On May 8, Kangana Ranaut had announced that she had tested positive for coronavirus and will be isolating at her home in Mumbai. Her post was deleted by Instagram for appearing to be tone-deaf.

Earlier this month, Kangana Ranaut's official account was permanently suspended by Twitter following her controversial tweets on the West Bengal election results and post-election violence.
