New Delhi : Cabinet minister and son of Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray finally broke his silence and dismissed all the allegations of his involvement in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.

The Shiv Sena leader said that he does not have any relation to the matter and labelled it as ‘dirty and baseless politics’.

He called the actor's demise unfortunate and shocking, and came down heavily on those using this scenario to gain political mileage, he said, “Using someone’s death for political gains is inhumane.”

He also said, "Bollywood is an important part of Mumbai a lot of people are dependent on it.”

After Aditya’s statement, Kangana Ranaut's team took to their Twitter account to respond to Aditya's statements. Her tweets read, "Ha ha look who is talking about dirty politics, how your father got CM seat is a case study of dirty politics sir... forget all that ask your father to answer few questions related to SSR death...

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 at his Bandra residence. The case is currently being investigated by the Mumbai Police, and the Centre has asked the CBI to probe the matter.
