Aishwarya Rai, daughter Aaradhya admitted to Nanavati hospital
Mumbai : Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhaya has been admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital to be treated for COVID-19, according to news agency ANI.
The 46-year-old actress tested positive on July 12 and was placed in isolation at the Bachchan residence Jalsa, which was sealed by the BMC as were the three other bungalows owned by the family.
Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek are also in Nanavati Hospital. They tested positive last week. Aishwarya and Abhishek's eight-year-old daughter also has COVID-19.
Aishwarya’s husband, actor Abhishek Bachchan, and her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, had been admitted to Nanavati previously, having contracted the virus over the weekend.
On July 12, Abhishek had tweeted, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers.”
