Akshay Kumar announces Padman release date with a new poster

New Delhi : A much awaited upcoming Bollywood movie Padman will release on January 26, 2018, announces Akshay Kumar with a brand new poster of the film that also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the pivotal role.

Padman has been produced by Akshay Kumar's wife Twinkle Khanna and has been making headlines ever since it was announced. 

The film is a comedy-drama inspired by the life of Coimbatore-based Arunachalam Muruganantham, who found a way to make cheap, affordable sanitary napkins for women in his village.

While sharing the poster, Akshay Kumar captioned it, "Super hero hai yeh pagla, aa raha hai 26th January, 2018 ko : #PadMan!"

On Sunday, Akshay has released a teaser for the poster and wrote, “Launching tomorrow…PADMAN IN TWO MONTHS (@PadManTheFilm) (@radhika_apte) (@sonamakapoor) (@mrsfunnybones) (@SonyPicsIndia) (@kriarj) #RBalki.”
