Akshay Kumar in and as 'Bachchan Pandey' looks scary, check new release date

New Delhi : Actor Akshay Kumar on Monday teased fans with the poster and release date of his upcoming movie Bachchan Pandey. The 52-year-old actor shared a brand new poster, featuring himself in the persona of the titular character.

In the latest poster, Akshay Kumar's character is bruised with a scar across his face, heavily bearded and moustachioed, with an injured eye.

According to the known information, Bachchan Pandey is loosely based on Ajith's 2014 Tamil action film Veeram. Check out the brand new look and poster of the movie below:

Interestingly, Akshay Kumar changed the release date of his movie to avoid the clash with Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chhadha'. Earlier, both the movies were slated to release on the Christmas this year, but now Akshay will be releasing his movie a month later i.e. January 22, 2021.

Welcoming the move, Aamir Khan left a thank you note for Akshay Kumar on his twitter profile. "Sometimes all it takes is one conversation," while Akshay replied: "Anytime, Aamir. We're all friends here."

Also, check out the first poster of Bachchan Pandey that Akshay Kumar had shared a couple of weeks back. Bachchan Pandey will be directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Apart from this, Akshay Kumar will also be seen in the upcoming movies Laxmmi Bomb and Sooryavanshi.
