Akshay Kumar's 'Sooryavanshi' continues magical run at Box Office

Mumbai : It's been three weeks since Akshay Kumar's movie Sooryavanshi was released in theatres, and the movie is still fetching good figures on the Box Office collection. In the third week, the worldwide box office collection of the movie stands above Rs 260 crores.

Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared the Box Office collection figures on Twitter and wrote that audiences prefer Sooryavanshi over new releases.

He tweeted, "#Sooryavanshi WW Box Office Continues to GROW despite new releases Week 1 - 190.06 cr, Week 2 - 66.66 cr, Week 3, Day 1 - 4.31 cr, Day 2 - 5.20 cr, Total - 266.23 cr (sic)." 

Sooryavanshi stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. The film also has cameos by Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn. Sooryavanshi was originally scheduled to release in 2020. However, the film's release was postponed due to the novel coronavirus. 

The film has been produced by Reliance Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Picturez in association with Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.
