Alia Bhatt agrees to pay double price for a posh apartment in Mumbai

Mumbai : With back to back hits, actress Alia Bhatt has become one of the most bankable actresses in Bollywood.

In a time span of just six years, she has managed to become the top leading actresses; with ambitious projects like Kalank, Brahmastra and Gully Boy she is likely to enjoy the great phase surely for some more time.

With big earnings, she is investing the money wisely. She currently owns two flats in Mumbai. A media report claims that she has now purchased another property in Juhu for which she has paid a staggering amount of Rs 13.11 crores.

The 2,300 sq. ft apartment, which is located on the first floor had a ready reckoner rate of Rs 7.86 crore, and this indicates that Alia has paid double the price for it.

Alia has paid a stamp duty of Rs 65.5 lakhs for the property.

Talking about Alia paying double the price for her flat, Sangeet Hemant Kumar of SHK Ventures told the daily, "There's a premium attached to these properties and going by the rate, the price that Bhatt paid for this property isn't very high. The property is exactly like a house a celebrity would like to invest in."
