Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are in love, confirms Mahesh Bhatt

New Delhi : There is buzz going round for quite some time about the love affair of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. But, now Mahesh Bhatt, father of Alia, directly came to the point. Now, no more rumours! The father confirms that they are indeed in love. Here is what Mahesh Bhatt said about Alia-Ranbir love story.

"Well, of course they're in love. You don't need to be a genius to get that! I love Ranbir… he's a great guy. What they do to their relationship is something they'll have to figure out. Whether it's heading towards that port called 'marriage' — which is an institution that needs to be questioned in the second decade of the 21st century — is something for them to figure out. I'm no one to hazard a guess when that would happen or which way the relationship is going. It's life and life needs to be lived on its own terms. Let's wait and see what tomorrow brings for us." 

Conversely, the 70-year-old director added that marriage between the two is something that he cannot comment on as it's a decision for them to make.

Now, after Ranveer Singh- Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, all eyes are on Ranbir and Alia.

To inform, the love birds got struck on the sets of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra and their friendship soon took the shape of real life romance. 

On the work front, Alia and Ranbir are currently shooting for Brahmastra. If rumours are to be believed then the duo will ring in the New Year together in New York. It is no secret that Rishi Kapoor is undergoing treatment for his ailment in NYC, and the couple plans to join the veteran actor and Neetu Kapoor for holidays.
