Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor break up: Myths and realities

New Delhi : Once again the rumours around Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's relationship status have flooded the social media with many claiming that they have called it quits.

It all started with the absence of Ranbir Kapoor on Alia Bhatt's birthday celebrations. Some reports even suspected Ranbir's 'cold' behaviour towards his lady love as being the final straw.

According to a source close to the couple any reasoning behind the fact is nothing but a baseless rumour.

In an official statement to the press, the source revealed that any rumour of the two splitting up is just that – a rumour.

"These reports are all baseless and untrue. You all can be assured that Ranbir and Alia are very much in love and together," said the source.

Meanwhile, a picture posted by one of the couple's friends Natasha Poonawala is a proof that they are in love and do not have any plans to part ways.

In the picture, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen planting a kiss on Alia Bhatt's cheeks. A few weeks back, the two had also attended a football match together.
