Amitabh Bachchan shares his 1968 job application picture, says 'No wonder I rejected'

New Delhi : Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has shared a picture of himself from his early days in Mumbai. The actor has shared his photo on his Instagram account. Following this, he also tweets an interesting job application format for himself, when the megastar is 76 now.

It was during the early days of 1968, when Big B was considered unfit for the Bollywood movies. The famous tag ‘TDH’ meaning tag - tall, dark and handsome was not familiar in the film dictionary. The trend was a series of good looking actors like Shashi Kapoor, Dharmendra and so on. Bachchan was struggling with twelve flops and only two hits (lead role in ‘Bombay to Goa’ and ‘Anand’). Howeever, from ‘Zanjeer’ his stardom raised and till now, he is a shining star in the Bollywood galaxy.

Amitabh Bachchan is active in his social media account. As of now he has shareda picture of himself from his early days in Mumbai. The super star wrote on Instagram: “My application picture for a job in movies.. 1968.. no wonder I was rejected !!”

Well, the picture says that Amitabh doesn’t exactly resemble extra-ordinary, but he isn’t looking bad either. Amitabh, is in 50 years now in the Bollywood and is a inspiration for most of the actors in the industry. He has the talent to cope up with the change according to changing time.

In addition, he also tweeted-  “T 2617 - Job Application : Name : Amitabh Bachchan DOB : 11.10.1942, Allahabad Age : 76 yrs Credentials : worked in films for 49 years , IN APPROX 200 FILMS Speaks ; Hindi, English, Punjabi, Bengali HEIGHT : 6’2’’ .. Available .. YOU SHALL NEVER HAVE HEIGHT PROBLEM !!!”

Sources confirmed that earlier this march, Mr. Bachchan went ill shooting for Thugs of Hindostan in Rajasthan. A group of doctors from Mumbai paid him a visit on the sets. As rumour flew that the actor and his wife, Jaya, mentioned that he had back and shoulder pain. He had earlier written that doctors were “fiddling around with his body” to “set me up again”.

As of now, Amitabh Bachchan is busy with another project –‘102 Not Out’.
