Amitabh Bachchan's tweet swirls Vinod Khanna death rumour

New Delhi : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan's latest tweet fuelled Vinod Khanna death rumours which were trending on Twitter after many posted the actor is no more with us. 

Big B’s tweet read, "Strange is it not, that the passing of the near and dear and colleagues, coerces one to start questioning one’s own longevity!"

It all started after a picture of Vinod Khanna from hospital started trending on the social media, where he was seen seriously ill. (Click here to see the image)

However, few hours later Rahul Khanna released a statement over health of father Vinod Khanna.

In a statement, Rahul said, "Dad was hospitalised on Friday for severe dehydration. The situation was quickly brought under control, he’s doing much better and the doctors are looking to discharge him soon. Our family is most grateful for the extraordinary care he’s been receiving at the hospital and we are touched by all the good wishes pouring in."

The hospital where Vinod Khanna is admitted has also claimed that the actor is in improving condition and responding well to the treatment.

As per latest information, death of Vinod Khanna is just a rumour, he is alive and under treatment right now. Bollywood actor Salman Khan also paid him a visit at hospital and wished him a speedy recovery.
