Delhi : Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma visited the famous Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, ahead of the fourth Test match between India and Australia.

The famous couple was seen sitting inside the temple with other pilgrims in a social media video that went viral. On Saturday morning, one day after the conclusion of the third Test match between India and Australia in Indore, they recorded attendance at the temple.

Anushka Sharma stated, "We came here to offer prayers and had a good 'darshan' at Mahakaleshwar temple.

The fact that Virat and Anushka are devout believers is no secret. Together with their daughter Vamika, the couple also travelled to Rishikesh and Vrindavan earlier this year. The family visited Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj's samadhi at Swami Dayanand Ashram in Rishikesh after visiting Baba Neem Karoli's ashram in Vrindavan.

Returning to the ongoing Test series in Indore, at the Holkar stadium on Friday, Australia defeated India by a score of 9 wickets. Cheteshwar Pujara's half-century in the second innings saved the hosts from losing the match by an innings after India collapsed to 109 in the first.

The World Test Championship final will be played at The Oval in London in June, and the Australians have qualified for it with this victory. India must now defeat Australia in the upcoming Tests to secure their position in the championship game. Notably, the fourth and final Test will begin March 9 in Ahmedabad.

Anushka Sharma will next be seen in Chakda Xpress, a sports biopic based on cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
