Arjun Kapoor reveals why he was put on house arrest recently

New Delhi : Actor Arjun Kapoor, who will be seen next in Dibakar Banerjee's 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar', was recently put on house arrest to make his character of a Haryanvi cop look perfect on him. 

Dibakar Banerjee, known for his enthusiasm and dedication for the movies, wanted to try different looks on Arjun Kapoor to find his character of the story. In a bid to get one, he literally put Arjun Kapoor on a house arrest.

Talking about the same, Arjun Kapoor confessed, "I was literally put on house arrest by Dibakar before the look test. I had to grow my full beard so that we could try out various looks before Dibakar froze on what he exactly wants. It took us 48 hours to finalize the look of the Haryanvi cop."

Furthermore, Arjun went on to disclose, "Now, that Dibakar has locked the look, I can finally step out of my house and have a social life before I head to an intensive shooting schedule of the film next week."

Arjun Kapoor will be teaming up with her Ishaqzaade co-star Parineeti Chopra for one more time.

'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' has been scheduled to release on August 3 next year.
