Ayushmann Khurrana's Anek to release on a new date

New Delhi : As the coronavirus cases in India started decreasing, actor Ayushmann Khurrana announced a new release date for his upcoming film, Anek on his Instagram handle. 

He shared a poster from the movie and wrote, "It takes just one to make a difference." and added that it is "Time to unite as Ek! Jeetega Kaun? Who will win? Hindustan! India! Anek in cinemas 13.05.2022" 

The upcoming movie Anek has been directed by Anubhav Sinha, it will be their second collaboration after 2019 film 'Article 15'.

The makers of Anek had released the trailer back in October, 2021 but the release was postponed due to the pandemic. Earlier, it was scheduled to release on big screens from September 17, 2021. 

Anek is based on a socio-political thriller which is set in Northeast India. The movie has been produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha in association with Benaras Media Works and T-Series.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann was last seen in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui along with Vaani Kapoor. He will also be seen in upcoming film Doctor G.
