'Badhaai Ho': Ayushmann Khurrana gets his biggest hit till date

New Delhi : Despite his brilliant acting skills, Ayushmann Khurrana had been delivering movies with an average Box Office earnings; but with 'Badhaai Ho' he has cemented his place as a Bollywood star in the industry.
'Badhaai Ho' minted Rs 61.85 crores in first week, making it the highest grosser among Ayushmann Khurrana movies till date.
As per figures released by trade analyst Taran Adarsh the film “is all set for a fantastic Rs 66 cr+ extended week 1.” He wrote on Twitter that the second week “will give an idea of its lifetime biz.”
Ayushmann Khurrana's another release Andhadhun also minted Rs 60 crores on the Box Office.

In a recent interview to PTI, Ayushmann admitted that he’d become a star, but has not been able to come to terms with the label yet. “I know I have become a star but I don’t want to believe it. I want to be that simple, no fuss guy who approaches a film as if it is my first movie,” he said.
