Bihar government recommends CBI investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death
New Delhi : The Bihar government on Tuesday recommended probe by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
The big announcement was made by spokesperson of Janata Dal (United) aka JD(U) Sanjay Singh. He said that the government has recommended that CBI should take over the leads of the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, according to news agency ANI.
Bihar government’s big step comes after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar seeking CBI investigation in the case.
Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court is scheduled to hear a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) on Tuesday in this regard.
Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14. His funeral was held the next day on June 15 in Mumbai which was attended by his family, close friends and Bollywood counterparts.
Mumbai police are currently investigating Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
