Bioscopewala trailer: Danny brings Rabindranath Tagore's Kabuliwala to life

New Delhi : A trailer for much-awaited feature film - Bioscopewala - has been released by the makers. Adapted from a short story - Kabuliwala by Rabindranath Tagore; the film stars Danny Denzongpa.

Bioscopewala is an extension of the original Tagore story and every bit teased in the trailer looks intriguing.

Danny was last seen in the movie 'Naam Shabana', he is making a strong comeback with the movie. Watch Trailer

Rabindranath Tagore's short story Kabuliwala was released in 1892. The story follows a Pashtun merchant from Kabul, who comes to Calcutta for selling dry-fruits every year and while living in India he becomes friends with a five-year-old girl Mini from a middle-class aristocratic family as she reminds him of his daughter who lives in Kabul.

Apart from Danny, the film also stars Geetanjali Thapa, Tisca Chopra and Adil Hussain in the pivotal roles.

Directed by Deb Medhekar, the film has been produced by Sunil Doshi and has been slated for May 25 release in India.
