Box Office Collection: Yami Gautam's 'Article 370' collects Rs 3.25 crore on Monday
Mumbai : Yami Gautam's "Article 370," directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, opened strong at the box office, grossing Rs 34.71 crore in its first three days. Maintaining this momentum, the film collected an estimated Rs 3.25 crore on Monday, bringing its total collection to Rs 37.96 crore net.
Article 370 kicked off its box office run strongly, earning a noteworthy Rs 5.9 crore on its opening day. The film maintained its momentum throughout the weekend, with collections reaching Rs 7.4 crore on Saturday and experiencing a significant jump of over 20% on Sunday, culminating in a remarkable Rs 9.6 crore.
Yami Gautam, basking in the film's early box office success, expressed her appreciation and hopes during a recent interview with ANI. "We were confident the film would resonate with audiences and elicit positive reactions," she said. "We believed that experiencing the film firsthand could prompt viewers to re-evaluate their perspectives on the issue (of the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir)."
