Brahmastra: WWE wrestler Saurav Gurjar to make Bollywood debut

New Delhi : Joining the cast of Karan Johar's upcoming movie Brahmastra is WWE wrestler Saurav Gurjar, who will be making a Bollywood debut with the movie. He had earlier acted in the mythological TV show Mahabharat.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles.

According to reports, Saurav will be playing the character of the antagonist. With a bulky body on height of 6 feet 8 inches, he is surely going to kill the role. He revealed the news in an interview.

“I am playing a negative character in Brahmastra. The film is quite action-packed and I am doing all my moves. I have action scenes with Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the film,” Saurav was quoted as saying.

He also shared a picture of him on Instagram where Ranbir Kapoor can be seen climbing his back. He captioned the image, “I believe he is a super sweet buddy!! Supaaaa fun working with him!!! Love and respect bro!!!!”

When sharing a picture of himself with Amitabh on Instagram, he had written, “Special day in my life click with Legend India actor Mr Amitabh Bachchan sahab.”

Brahmastra has been scheduled to release on December 25, 2019.
