Chhapaak teaser: Deepika Padukone says 'A moment is all it took'

New Delhi : Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone released a much-awaited teaser of her upcoming movie Chhapaak on Monday with fans, revealing when the trailer of the movie will be released.

The actor captioned the teaser, “A moment is all it took...” on Twitter.

In the short teaser, a splash in the acid spreads into darkness with a loud sound. Interestingly, the trailer of the movie will be released on the World Human Rights Day.

With Chhapaak, Deepika Padukone will be stepping into the shoes of a producer. The movie has been directed by Meghna Gulzar of Raazi and Talwar fame.

“Deepika is going to be a revelation in Chhapaak. It is a completely different side of Deepika which people will see. When I say that I don’t mean just the look or prosthetics, it’s also about going into the second level of the character – the body language, the gestures and the general energy,” Meghna had told PTI on the sidelines of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) recently.

Chhapaak has been scheduled to release in theatres on January 10.
