Coolie No.1 First Look: Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan set for a laughter therapy

Mumbai : The first look poster of Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan's upcoming movie Coolie No 1 has been released by the makers. David Dhawan will be directing the refreshed version of the movie with his added colours and flavours.

In one poster, Varun Dhawan has been introduced as Coolie No 1 in a trademark red and white uniform; and in the other he joins Sara Ali Khan in a stunning avatar.

Sara Ali Khan, who celebrates her 24th birthday today, shared the poster with a birthday wish for herself: "Happy Birthday to me."

Also, check out the first poster of Coolie No 1 below. Varun Dhawan also dropped a teaser of sorts, which begins with Sara Ali Khan calling out to the 'Coolie No 1' and then has a remixed version of Main Toh Raste Se Ja Raha Tha playing. "Back to the Nineties," a rapper will remind you.

The film is a remake of Coolie No 1 (1995) that featured Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead roles. While Varun has stepped into Govinda's shoes in the remake, Sara has been cast in the role originally played by Karisma.

It has been scheduled to release in theatres on May 1, 2020.
