Deepika Padukone too busy to act in Shah Rukh Khan's movie

New Delhi : Actress Deepika Padukone may have made a perfect debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Bollywood with 'Om Shanti Om'. She may had given blockbuster hits like 'Chennai Express' and 'Happy New Year' with him; but now she is too busy to act opposite SRK.

According to a latest report, Deepika Padukone has apparentaly turned down offer of playing the leading lady against Shah Rukh Khan in Anand L Rai’s upcoming movie.

A source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, “While Deepika was quite keen on doing the film, unfortunately, her dates were clashing with those allotted to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. Since she has already committed her dates to SLB’s historical, she had to say no to Aanand L Rai.’’

Earlier, there were reports that Katrina Kaif may be roped in for the leading role but the reports went off after Deepika Padukone’s name came in.

It will be interesting to see which actress will finally say yes for the upcoming movie.
