Dilip Kumar Health Update: Saira Bano's says he is getting discharged

Mumbai : Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been discharged from the hospital on Sunday, his wife Saira Bano revealed in a statement. The 98-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital for regular checkups and health issues. His wife cleared that there is nothing to worry as he is recovering well.

Speaking to ETimes, Saira Bano said, "Dilip Kumar Saab is recovering well and will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow."

In a previous interview last year, she had said that the actor is not well, weak and needs a lot of prayers. She had told ETimes, “He’s not too well. He’s weak. At times, he walks into the hall and back to his room. His immunity is low. Pray for his welfare. We are grateful to God for each day.”

Dilip Kumar is well known as the tragedy king of Bollywood for his characters in movies like Mughal-e-Azam (1960), Naya Daur (1957), Ram Aur Shyam, Devdas (1955) and others.
