Mumbai : Amid the entire buzz for upcoming movie Sooryavanshi, actor Akshay Kumar teased fans the desi avatar of the cop universe aka his character from the movie.

In the picture, Akshay Kumar looks confident and angry with his hands on the shoulders of Singham and Simmba. Sharing the picture with fans he wrote, "The desi Avengers of the Cop universe! When Bajirao ‘Singham’ meets Sangram ‘Simmba’ Bhalerao meets Veer #Sooryavanshi, expect not just fireworks but a full-blown blast on 27th March, 2020."

On Wednesday, Katrina Kaif had shared a picture of a name badge with Veer Sooryavanshi written on it. She captioned the image as, "Now Shooting #sooryavanshi #onset."

After the success of Simmba and Singham, Rohit Shetty has extended his cop venture to Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar. Akshay's entry as the Anti-Terror Squad chief, was teased in the climax of Simmba.

This is also the first project of Akshay Kumar where he is teaming up with Rohit Shetty. In March, the makers of the film shared the first look of the film. In the poster, Akshay was seen donning a police uniform with a revolver in his hand.

The film has been scheduled to release in theatres on March 27, 2020.
