New Delhi : Actor Kangana Ranaut has been diagnosed with dengue. The news came to light after her production house revealed that she has been working on the upcoming movie 'Emergency' despite being ill. An Instagram post from the official handle of her production house Manikarnika mentioned that Kangana has a "low white blood cell count and is suffering from high fever." The post read, "When you are down with dengue, alarmingly low white blood cell count and high fever and yet you land at work, it’s not passion it’s madness…our chief @kanganaranaut is such an inspiration."

The actress also shared the post on her Instagram and expressed her gratitude to the team for the kind words. She wrote, "Thank you team @manikarnikafilms body gets ill not the spirit…thanks for the kind words."

'Emergency' is an upcoming movie that revolves around the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, whose character is being played by Kangana Ranaut.

Kangana Ranaut has also taken up the new responsibility of being the director in the movie.
