Get ready for Rs 1000 cr movie named Mahabharata

New Delhi : SS Rajamouli has set the trend for many in Indian film history. Now, the great Indian epic Mahabharata is all set to be recreated. A UAE- based businessman is all set to make it a reality.

 

The Indian businessman from UAE will be investing a whopping Rs 1000 crores to produce India's biggest ever motion picture, 'The Mahabharata'.

Like Rajamouli’s magnum opus –‘Baahubali’ – ‘The Mahabharata’ will be presented in two parts and will be directed/noted ad man and advertising film maker VA Shrikumar Menon.

The film is scheduled to go on floors in September next year and released in early 2020.The second half of the magnum opus will release within 90 days of the first.

The film will be shot primarily in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu and will be dubbed into major Indian languages and leading foreign languages.

The film will be a coming together of the crime de la crème of Indian and global cinema in terms of cast and crew.

The technical crew would include some of the great names in world cinema, including some Academy Award winners.

 

The cast would have the best of talents from Indian cinema, as well as some big names from Hollywood.
