I loved performing at IIFA , even though it was raining: A.R.Rahman

New York : A.R.Rahman has spent 25 years in Bollywood industry and have given us melodious songs for life. Recently his journey of 25 years was celebrated at IIFA Awards 2017 in New York.

A.R.Rahman performance at the event even when it was raining. 

According to The Indian Express, A.R.Rehman said he loved performing at IIFA Rocks concert. He said all his fans supported him even when it was raining. 

Rahman further added that the love people have been giving him all these years has been overwhelming. 

Rahman at IIFA performed for 90 minutes, it was to celebrate his 25 years in the Indian Film Industry.

Rahman in an interview said while talking to media that, “I think it was kind for the IIFA to invite me and celebrate my 25 years in the industry. I loved performing, even though it was raining. I love the way people received it against all the odds. I’m grateful to them. We were actually terrified because it was raining and our equipment was all wet. The band was actually courageous and people were very supportive. We enjoyed the concert and that gave us the energy to perform,”

He received an overwhelming response. He said, “I love the way people have supported me all these years and without them I’m nothing. It’s overwhelming. I’m grateful to all of them.”
