IMDB user rating of Deepika Padukone's 'Chhapaak' falls to 4.4
Mumbai : After failing to impress masses in the theatres, Deepika Padukone's latest release 'Chhapaak' is facing the wrath on IMDB ratings too.
As seen on Monday, the film's rating had dipped to 4.4. The movie's page on the website has been blasted with harsh reviews and ratings. Reportedly, 4000 votes out of 6900 have given the movie lowest ratings.
Comparing it with this week's another Box Office release - 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior', the film has a strong rating of 8.8 on the review aggregator website.
Meanwhile, the weekend Box Office collections of Chhapaak and Tanhaji stands at Rs 19.01 crores and Rs 61.75 crores respectively.
While some of the Deepika Padukone fans claimed a targeted strategy to degrade the ratings and wrote in her support.
Bhakts at it again. #Chhapaak is 4.3 on IMDB. Compare this to Tanhaji which is 9.0 currently. What else can you expect from such lowlifes? pic.twitter.com/A85p2ByccA

#Bhakts seem to have attacked the IMDb ratings of #Chhapaak as well; the reviews look diametrically opposed. I think this is better than a 4.2 rated movie. Maybe if more real ratings come in then it would show... Anyway, I'm a fan @deepikapadukone and will watch the movie soon

This has not happened for the first time. Two years back, Anubhav Sinha's Mulk had to face a similar situation on the IMDB.
