Janmashtami 2019: Shah Rukh Khan breaks Dahi Handi in celebrations

NH Bureau : Like every year, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan on Saturday celebrated Janmashtami at his residence in Mumbai – Mannat. He also performed the ritual of performing Dahi Handi.

A video of Shah Rukh Khan performing Dahi Handi has gone viral on the social media. In the video he can be seen holding a coconut in his hand completing the Janmashtami rituals by breaking the pot.

Other than Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan also celebrated lord Krishna's birthday by sharing a video of his youngest son Azad breaking Dahi Handi.

The actor captioned his video, "Wishing everyone a very happy Janmashtami! [sic]"; following the picture, he further shared the video with the caption, "#happyjanmashtami".

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma tanked at the box office. The actor is now producing Netflix' new series, Bard Of Blood which stars Emraan Hashmi as a spy.

The show is an edge-of-the-seat thriller, which releases on September 27, 2019.
