'Fukrey' cast rejoice as 'Jugaad' gets official recognition in Oxford dictionary
New Delhi : Originated in India, the word 'jugaad' has officially found a place in the world's most trusted English dictionary Oxford in their latest updated edition.
The dictionary has recognised the word as noun which means a flexible approach to problem-solving that uses limited resources in an innovative way, to its list of words.
The makers of Bollywood movie 'Fukrey' looked totally enthralled and wrote on Twitter, "Looks like the #OxfordDictionary approves of the Fukra way of living it up! Hence proven, ke umeed pe nahi, jugaad pe duniya kaayam hai!".
Delighted with the news, the cast of the film also shared thoughts on the same via Twitter; Pulkit Samrat writes, "Today's lesson: #Jugaad is now a part of #OxfordDictionary! Waiting for #FUKRA to join the club now!"
