New Delhi : The love story of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt is adding extra heat in the scorching summer season. There is a speculation that the love news is not going too well with Katrnia Kaif, once-upon-a-time love of Ranbir. There is no secret that Alia and Katrina's friendship has turned bitter after the former got close to Ranbir on the sets of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra.
While Ranbir and Alia have been busy blowing the air of love in the B-town, Chikni Chameli has put her friendship with the Raazi actress on the backburner. And if reports are to be believed, Katrina is annoyed with Ranbir and Alia's growing intimacy.
"Katrina who is not known to share buddy vibes with any other actress had warmed up to Alia, giving the younger girl lots of fitness and food advice. That apart they also shared a lot of girl-time together. This was all before Alia began to grow close to Ranbir Kapoor,' said a source to an entertainment portral.
However, there are rumours that after her bitter break-up with Ranbir, Katrina knows how the actor’s love will work out for Alia.
"Katrina knows exactly how it is going to end for Alia. She has been there, seen it all. But it's not Katrina's nature to poke her nose in other's affairs. Besides anything that she would say in the way of a warning would sound like sour grapes to the outside world. So she's just keeping quiet," a friend of Katrina was quoted as telling the entertainment portal.
Before Alia made a dive in Bollywood, Alia was quite lovesick with Ranbir and shouted from rooftops about her massive crush on him. And their closeness on the film sets added fuel to the infatuation. It was recently that Ranbir admitted to being in love and confirmed his relationship with Alia. He said, "It's too new. Let it cook."
Since then, the two have been always together. From making public appearances to dining with each other's families, Ranbir and Alia have opened up about their relationship.
When Alia was asked about her bonding with Katrina, she said, "I've known Katrina for a couple of years now. We've got to know each other organically. It all happened when Kat and I started spending time in the gym. Today, shes someone who I can say is my friend. I know I can count on her when I'm in trouble and she can count on me, for sure. She's got my back and I've got hers."
