New Delhi : Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati is the most awaited film of the year, starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
A very revealing rumor came to light of the film.
As everyone is aware of the fact that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is in deep love with the couple of Deepika and Ranveer. But now the question arises was Deepika and Ranveer were the initial choices for Sanjay?
According to Filmfare.com the answer to this question is No.
Because the film was first offered to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan.
As they both parted ways the film didn’t work then. But Sanjay still has hopes about both of them to be cast in the lead role. So Sanjay got in touch with the stars again to know whether their decisions have changed.
Salman declined the film whereas Aishwarya agreed to do it, but she applied a condition. The condition was Salman would play the role of Alauddin Khilji because then he will not have any role with the leading actress that is Aishwarya. If this condition would have been fulfilled then Aishwarya would have agreed to do the film.
The reason behind Salman declining the film was he would have done the film if it was a love story and he was very much interested in doing the same role type that in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. And that was the reason why he didn’t agree to do the film.
