New Delhi : Vikram Vedha rules Box Office in the US

R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi's latest film Vikram Vedha has broken box office record in the United States of America.

Amid rave reviews from both the critics and the audiences, Vikram Vedha has become the highest grossing Tamil film in the US after SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Produced by Y Not Studios, Vikram Vedha reportedly grossed Rs 17 crore in its opening weekend.

If reports are to be believed then the film is likely to become the highest grossing Tamil movie of the year.

Directed by Pushkar-Gayatri, Vikram Vedha is based on the famous tales of Vikram and Beetal. It tells the story of an honest cop Vikram (R Madhavan), who's on a mission to nab a notorious gangster Vedha (Vijay Sethupathi).
