#metoo: Nana Patekar drops out of 'Housefull 4'

Mumbai : Actor Nana Patekar has reportedly been dropped out of upcoming movie 'Housefull 4' amid sexual misconduct accusations made against him by actress Tanushree Dutta.

According to a report by the Times of India, Nana Patekar's decision came after Akshay Kumar said he will not work with proven sexual offenders. Bollywood Khiladi shared on Twitter that he has requested the Housefull 4 producers to halt the production till further investigations.

“This is something that requires stringent action,” Akshay wrote. “I will not work with proven offenders and those subjugated to harassment should be heard and given the justice they deserve,” he continued.

Director Sajid Khan has also been accused by three women of sexual harassment.

Nana Patekar, meanwhile, have denied all the allegations made by Tanushree Dutta, who claims that the National Award-winner had harassed her on the sets of 2008’s 'Horn OK Pleassss'.
