Mumbai Court extends Raj Kundra's police custody

Mumbai : Mumbai Court has extended the police custody of businessman Raj Kundra on Friday in a case related to alleged production of adult movies and publishing them on different application.

Actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai Police on July 19 after being booked under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.

In a latest update, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's house was raided on Friday. Mumbai police said, “We have found huge transactions trails of Raj Kundra accounts, these are account to account transactions from Yes bank to Union Bank of Africa”.

It has also been suspected that all money that he earned via adult movies was invested in online betting.

Raj Kundra's police custody has been extended till July 27; meanwhile he has approached High Court challenging his arrest.

His lawyer told the court during the hearing that the videos, in this case, can’t be considered pornographic.
