Nawazuddin Siddiqui grabbed, dragged by neck for a selfie

Kanpur : Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui almost got attacked by a fan in a selfie attempt by one of his fans in Kanpur. 

A video, viral on the internet, shows a fan grabbing and dragging Nawazuddin Siddiqui as he tries to click a picture with Manto star. Soon after his team realises what is happening they come to his rescue and escort the actor out from the situation. 

The fan was later nabbed by the police officials on duty at the spot. Check video below.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is in Kanpur these days for the shooting of his upcoming movie 'Raat Akeli Hai'. The movie is directed by debutant filmmaker Honey Trehan. Nawaz is playing an Uttar Pradesh Police officer who is investigating a murder.

Nawaz was last seen in Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray's biopic Thackeray. Nawaz played the lead role in the film alongside Amrita Rao, who portrayed Thackeray's wife Meenatai Thackeray.
