NCB seizes mobile phones of Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan

New Delhi : The Narcotics Control Bureau has seized the mobile phones of actors Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, who were summoned by the agency for questioning in a drug case related to Sushant Singh Rajput's death.

The phones of Rakul Preet Singh, Simone Khambatta and Jaya Saha were also seized, an NCB official told ANI.

So far, the agency has arrested 18 people in the case for their alleged connection with the case. After questioning Deepika, Sara and Shraddha for hours on Saturday the actors were allowed to go home and have not be summoned again.

According to a news report, Deepika Padukone broke down thrice during the questioning and the NCB official told her not to play the emotion card in the investigation.

Deepika was confronted with her manager Karishma Prakash during questioning, sources said. “The statements of Karishma Prakash, Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Shraddha Kapoor have been recorded. Kshitij Prasad has been placed under arrested after questioning. No fresh summon has been issued today. We have arrested more than 18 people,” Mutha Ashok Jain, Deputy DG, South-Western Region of NCB said on Saturday.
