'Padmaavat' Box Office Collection: Ranveer-Deepika starrer earns Rs 525 crores
New Delhi : Padmaavat has become Sanjay Leela Bhansali's biggest film till date with a collection of Rs 525 worldwide on Box Office. The film is still doing good business at major places.
Padmaavat has left behind Sanjay Leela Bhansali's previous releases including the top grossers 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Ram Leela', in terms of its Box Office collections.
Getting the benefit of the Karni Sena protest, the film successfully managed to earn a positive response from both the critics and the viewers.
Taking note of the positive response, Sanjay Leela Bhansali also expressed gratitude towards the people for accepting and allowing him to present the rich Indian culture.
He said, "It's a special feeling when your film receives so much love from audiences across the world. Padmaavat is a film that's very close to my heart because I wanted to present our rich Indian culture to the rest of the world via the medium of cinema. As a filmmaker, there can be no better feeling than seeing audiences react so positively".
Padmaavat stars Shahid Kapoor as 'Maharwal Ratan Singh' alongside Deepika Padukone playing 'Padmaavati' and Ranveer Singh as 'Allaudin Khilji'.
