Pehlaj Nihalani's 'censorship' comes to an end, sacked as CBFC chief
New Delhi : Famous for his tough stand against several Bollywood movies, Pehlaj Nihalani has been removed as chief of Censor Board in India. Poet and writer Prasoon Joshi has replaced him.

Not much has been revealed about this development which took place couple of months before Pehlaj's three year term was about to end.
Filmmakers like Prakash Jha and Madhur Bhandarkar were being considered as his successor as he was scheduled to depart in January 2018.
