"Phata poster nikla Shamshera": Ranbir Kapoor's surprise to his fans

New Delhi : For a fan, meeting their favourite movie star is like a dream come true; playing on this, Yash Raj Films launched the poster of their upcoming movie 'Shamshera' on Monday with a super surprise that included Ranbir Kapoor.

The official twitter handle of the production house shared a short video clip showing how Ranbir Kapoor jumped out from the poster to surprise his fans who were called to launch the poster of the movie but had no idea that Ranbir will also be present there.

Some of his fans were seen quickly bursting into tears and getting emotional as they saw him in real life. Check out the video below:

Shamshera is a story of a fictious character who was a slave, who becomes a leader and then a legend for his tribe. The movie has been directed by Karan Malhotra; it is scheduled to release in theaters on July 22, 2022.

The movie also stars Sanjay Dutt.
