Priyanka Chopra to star in Netflix special - 'We can be Heroes'
New York : Actress Priyanka Chopra has announced her two upcoming Hollywood projects - a kids’ superhero movie for Netflix. She will be collaborating with filmmaker Robert Rodriguez of Alita: Battle Angel fame who will write, direct and produce the film.
As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, the movie will be titled as We can be heroes and revolves around a group of aliens invaders who kidnap Earth’s superheroes, leaving their children to team up and save their parents and the world. Priyanka is said to play Ms. Gradenko in the film.
The Netflix also confirmed the movie and also shared the complete cast of the movie. Christian Slater, YaYa Gosselin, Akira Akbar, Andrew Diaz, Andy Walken, Boyd Holbrook, Hala Finley, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Lotus Blossom, Lyon Daniels, Nathan Blair, Sung Kang, Vivien Lyra Blair, Adriana Barraza, Christopher McDonald and Pedro Pascal will be seen playing the leads in the movie.

Priyanka was last seen in Rebel Wilson-starrer Isn’t It Romantic, which also released on Netflix in February besides having a theatrical release in the US.
She will soon be seen promoting her upcoming movie, the Sky is Pink that has been slated to release on October 11. The film will also be screened at the Torronto Film Festival.
