Project K: Prabhas first look starts meme fest on social media

New Delhi : The makers of upcoming movie Project K have dropped the first look of Prabhas from the movie; the actor can be seen with a top bun and a fully armed robotic-looking body. In the backdrop, massive destruction can be seen.

Despite the makers' efforts to present Prabhas in a grand avatar, the response from fans has been far from satisfactory. As soon as the poster was released online, the fans flooded Twitter with memes over Prabhas' first look in the film. Different opinions were seen on social media as a number of fans found the portrayal gimmicky as they criticized it as a messy piece of GFX; meanwhile some of the netizens raised their concerns over the neck awkwardly pasted onto the robotic body. One user wrote, "The worst first look ever made. Is he supposed to be Ironman? #ProjectK (sic)." Another disappointed fan wrote, "#WhatisProjectK #Prabhas first look DISAPPOI (sic)."

When Deepika Padukone's first look from the film was unveiled earlier, it faced similar criticism from disappointed fans who were eager to witness her in a never-before-seen avatar. 

Project K is one of the most anticipated and expensive upcoming movies, centered around the themes of science and mythology. Speculation suggests that Prabhas' character in the film is imbued with qualities inspired by Lord Vishnu. 

Project K will be featuring Kamal Hassan, Rana Daggubati, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Suriya, among other prominent actors. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is being crafted in two parts, with the first installment set to hit theaters on January 14 next year.
